6. of May 2025 Boat movement

Time has come to move our boats to the new place in RCNPP!
You remember: The Esplanada, where our boats used to be, will be reconstructed and we have to move to the RCNPP main area, next to the big blue portal crane.
Our old crane is already there, but a few things still have to be done:
The space below the terrace of the new bar, is not big enough for all of us and there are still cars and other boats in the way. RCNPP offers us to place our boats as well on the last car park spaces, on the right side before coming to the portal crane. There are fixing points in the ground, they say.
The way to our crane goes a little hill up, which means, that, at the moment, we need 2 persons to move a boat to our crane. The way back is easy.
There are still no fenders next to the crane!
The number for the crane lock can be found in our whatsapp group.
How to move the boats:
RCNPP offers to move the Flying Fifteen on the land way. We already moved 3817 without laying the mast. There are no cables or other things in the way. I asked Joan to only move boats, when owners have given their permission. Please give your permission in our whatsapp group or per email to ff@mallorcaservice.de with your name and the boat number
You can as well organize moving your boat yourself sailing it to the new place. In that case you will have to pull your trailer manually to the new location. Ask the guardian at the entrance, to open the barrier for you
If you want to enter the RCNPP by car, you have to get a ticket at the entrance and pay as soon as you leave. You can also enter walking or with bikes. RCNPP promised to provide parking cards for us in winter time, but not during the summer season now.
All boats have to be fixed properly to the ground in the new windy area. RCNPP asks to only use round ropes and no flat material, which makes noise in stronger winds.
I hope, we all are going to enjoy the new location and the bar above our boats.
Cheers
Michael

You may have seen, that RCNPP is working on the installation for our new stay inside the RCNPP-harbour.
Our crane has already been moved and hopefully the bar will soon be equipped.
But before we can move to the other side, a lot of works still have to be done. I.e.: enough fixing points in the ground for all our boats. In the meantime we will have to use the big crane in the old place. Please ask Joan or any of the sailing teacher to hand out the handle. It has always to be given back to them, to charge it. Should someone have no experience with this dangerous machine, please ask for introduction.
Wrong usage could damage your boat or others.
We are going to inform you here and on whatsapp as soon as RCNPP decides to move us to the new place.

RCNPP decided to move the Flying Fifteen fleet to the yachts area of RCNPP. Details coming soon.
RCNPP is planing new buildings on the Esplanada (the space where our boats are stored)
